My Slash Cut Jardines & Stock Header Pipes.

Header pipes will be coated in black satin ceramic.
Baffles are removed for de-rusting.
Considering removal of the cross over system.

Front & Rear Header Pipe
[Only problem was removing the rear header pipe. I ended up pulling the rear tire. :( ]

Front & Rear Header Pipe
After media blasting and prep & paint wash.
[prep & paint stop the part from re-rusting. Bare metal can rust in mins.]

Front & Rear Header Pipe

Hand sanded to take off some of the rough spots.
As you can see I "could" of spent a good hour or two on the grinder taking out every minor defect.

Front & Rear Header Pipe

Coated

90% of the nicks in the pic will be cover by the exhaust pipe. I had to persuade the header out of the exhaust.

You can't really even see the rear header pipe but the defects in the metal are there.

All the defects in the metal could of been grinded and polished out with some effort.
If it was going to be done in ceramic chrome it would be needed.

Blueing and Yellowing near my cross over junctions and my removed baffle.
Jardines do not have any fiberglass packing???

Only 2 pop rivets hold the baffle in.
